My Westinghouse OV25 Silverliner

The first in the collection, sacred to my childhood.

My Westinghouse OV25 Silverliner
There it is, in all its glory.
Sacred to my childhood in Roslindale, Boston, Massachusetts.

Inside with original ballast.

Now wired with a new ballast for 100 watt Mercury Vapor

Whoo-hoo! Lit up!

The bulb lit up!

Complete with cord.

Clear Mercury Vapor light bulb in it.

Closeup of the arc tube, filtered using my sunglasses over the lens.

70 watt High Pressure Sodium light bulb with 70 watt High Pressure Sodium ballast in it.

With a 40 MV nema tag like how most OV25s never had on them over the years.

Sometimes I like to rewire the Westinghouse OV25 and retrofit it with this LED corncob bulb.

My Leotek GCJ1

The first LED street light in my collection

My Leotek Green Cobra GCJ1

There it is, in all its LED glory. It's smaller than the classic GC1 luminaire

The LED board

With Ripley Sunswitch 6005 shorting cap.
Instead of a photocell, we'll use this Ripley Sunswitch 6005 shorting cap.
This helps it keep going until I unplug it.

Inside the luminaire

Deagle Electric gave me this Keystone corncob LED bulb. Since it's a medium base bulb, I went to Home Depot and bought a mogul to medium base adapter to accommodate this bulb.
